Wings for Life World Run

Wings for Life World Run invites people from all over the world to participate in an event in which 100% of the entry fees go directly to spinal cord research. The team at Küschall came out to support the cause and run with the 130,732 people who participated.

The marketing team at Küschall came across the Wings of Life World Run and decided that it was a great event to attend. There were twenty one people from Küschall who ran, including managing director, Martin Steegmüller.

Some team members brought along family members and children to join in the fun, the youngest “runner” being only eight months old. Together, the team traveled 715 miles, or 121 kilometers. The top runner from this group was actually in a wheelchair. Stephan Schultz traveled six miles, or nine kilometers, on his own.

To promote the Küschall brand, each runner wore a personalized shirt bearing the logo. The unexpected joy of the Wings for Life World Run was the many Küschall wheelchairs that were seen in the race. For the team it was very satisfying to see the products that they are working with in real life.
